今日から、わたしにコーヒーを買ってくれた人に、Podcastでお礼を言おうと思います。
先日、クリスさんが５杯のコーヒーを買ってくれました。

今日のテーマは、メールについてです。
皆さんは、普段、メールをよく使いますか?
私は仕事ではたくさんメールを使います。
しかし、私はメールが嫌いです。
やりにくいなと思うからです。

チャットの方が便利で、とても使いやすいです。
スラックや、あと、Teamsなど、いろいろなチャットのツールがあります。
私の会社では、まだまだみんなメールを使っています。
メールって、時間がかかるんですよね。

で、特に日本の会社で働く場合、メールにはたくさんのルールがあります。
まず、必ず、メールの最初に「お疲れ様です」もしくは「お世話になっております」と打ちます。
これ、無駄ですよね。
無駄だなと思いつつ、毎回必ず入れています。

あと、メールの最後に「よろしくお願いいたします」と入れます。
これもめんどくさいです。
私は、辞書登録をして時短をしていますが、それでもメールは嫌いです。
皆さんは、メールをよく使いますか?

I’m going to start thanking people who buy me coffee on my podcast from today.
The other day, Chris bought me five cups of coffee.

Today’s topic is about email.
Do you usually use e-mail a lot?
I use a lot of e-mail at work.
But I don’t like e-mail because I think it’s too hassle.

Chatting is more convenient and very easy to use.
There are many chat tools such as Slack, Teams, and so on.
In my company, everyone still uses e-mail.
Emails take a lot of time, don’t they?

So, there are a lot of rules about email, especially when you work in a Japanese company.
First of all, you should always start your e-mail with “otsukaresamadesu” or “itsumo osewani natteorimasu”
This is useless, isn’t it?
I know it’s useless, but I make sure to include it every time.

I also add “yoroshiku onegai itashimasu” at the end of the e-mail.
This is also a hassle.
I use a dictionary function to save time, but I still hate e-mail.
