みなさんは新幹線に乗ったことがありますか?
私は明日、新幹線に乗ります。
新幹線は、とても快適です。
そして速いです。

明日行く場所は、バスだと3時間から4時間かかります。
新幹線だと1時間半で行けます。
半分以下ですね。
しかし料金は高いです。
バスの2倍以上します。
なので、時間と快適さを買うには新幹線です。
時間がかかっても快適じゃなくてもいいと言うのであれば、バスがいいと思います。

私は乗り物酔いをしやすいので、新幹線を使います。
バスで4時間は少ししんどいです。
新幹線はよく大阪から東京の新幹線を使っていました。
私は3年前まで大阪に住んでいました。
仕事の関係でよく東京に行くことがあったので、よく新幹線を使っていました。
東京に住み始めてからは、初めてです。
だから何年ぶりだろう?
3年ぶりくらいに新幹線に乗ります。

みなさんも日本に来たときにはぜひ新幹線に乗ってみてください。

Have you ever taken the Shinkansen?
I’m going to take the Shinkansen tomorrow.
It is very comfortable and fast.

It takes three to four hours to get to the place I am going tomorrow by bus.
With the bullet train, I can get there in an hour and a half.
That’s less than half the time.
But the fare is expensive.
It’s more than twice as expensive as the bus.
So, if you want to buy time and comfort, go for the Shinkansen.
If you don’t mind if it takes a long time or is not comfortable, I think the bus is better.

I get motion sickness easily, so I use the Shinkansen.
Four hours on a bus is a little tough for me.
I used to take the bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo.
I used to live in Osaka until three years ago.
I often went to Tokyo for work, so I often used the Shinkansen.
This is the first time since I started living in Tokyo.
So how long has it been?
It’s been about three years since I took the bullet train.

I hope everyone will try the Shinkansen when they come to Japan.
