English
Hello, everyone.
SAKURA TIPS is a Japanese listening Podcast.
————————–
The theme is about snacking.
Have you ever heard of the word “kanshoku”?
The word “kanshoku” is written in Japanese and refers to snacks eaten between meals.
For example, let’s say you eat a snack between lunch and dinner.
This is a “kanshoku”.
So, sweets and snacks eaten outside of the three meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner, are called “kanshoku”.
Today I would like to talk about “kanshoku”.
Basically, I don’t eat snacks.
I don’t often feel the urge to eat sweets, and I basically eat two meals a day.
I don’t eat breakfast.
But recently, I have been snacking almost every day.
Cakes.
I have a lot of cakes at home right now.
They are frozen, so I can eat them for a long time.
And since there are so many, I feel that I have to eat them, so I eat them every day.
The cakes are small cakes that I divide into several portions, so each portion is very small.
But I eat it every day.
I know it’s not good for my health, but I don’t want to throw it away, so I eat it every day.
I eat it in between work, so it’s a nice change my mind.
It’s not good to eat a lot, but I think a little goes a long way in refreshing my mind.
Do you eat a lot of snacks?
