今日のテーマは日本の梅雨 についてです。
みなさんは日本にはなんこの季節があるか知っていますか？
春・夏・秋・冬 の４つ？
一般的には４つですが、実は春と夏の間、6月に梅雨の季節があります。
「梅雨」とはRainySeasonのことです。
2020年の気象庁のデータでは、東京や神奈川、千葉、埼玉などの関東は6月11日から8月1日が梅雨の時期でした。
これはいつもより長い期間です。
しかし、梅雨の間は毎日雨か といわれるとそうでもなくて、雨が降りやすい季節です。
東南アジアのようにスコールはありません。
梅雨の季節に咲く、美しい花があります。
それは「あじさい]です。
「あじさい」は青や紫、ピンク、白などの色で、とても美しいです。
「あじさいロード」といって、道路に沿ってたくさんのあじさいが植えられている場所もあります。
春は桜を楽しむように、梅雨はあじさいと雨を楽しむことができます。
みなさんの国にはいくつ季節がありますか？

Today’s topic is about the rainy season in Japan.
Do you know How many seasons we have in Japan?
Spring, summer, fall and winter?
Generally speaking, there are four, but there is actually a Rainy Season in June, between spring and summer.
The term “Tsuyu” means the Rainy Season.
According to the JMA data for 2020, the rainy season in Kanto, including Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama, was from June 11 to August 1.
This is a longer period than usual.
However, it is not that it rains every day during the rainy season, but that it rains more than other seasons.
We don’t have squalls like in Southeast Asia.
There is a beautiful flower that blooms in the rainy season, the hydrangea.
Hydrangeas come in blue, purple, pink and white and they are very beautiful.
There is a road called “Hydrangea Road” where many hydrangeas are planted along the road.
In the rainy season, you can enjoy the hydrangeas and the rain, just as you can enjoy the cherry blossoms in the spring.
