English

Hello, everyone.
This is Mari.
SAKURA TIPS is a Japanese listening Podcast.

————————–

Today’s theme is about mistakes.

Do you make mistakes?
I often make mistakes.

Yesterday, I was recording a podcast with a Japanese teacher.
I was trying to get everyone to listen to the conversation between me and the teacher.
We talked for about 30 minutes, and I thought, “Okay!” but when I listened to the recording, to my surprise, it was not recorded.
Well, there was no audio at all.

So, I thought, “Oh, no!”, but it can’t be helped.
It was a mistake, but I can learn from it.

First, I learned that I need two devices to record.
Also, it was my first time, so I can do better next time.

And I also make mistakes at work.
Recently, I have been writing many reports in English, but I was told that they didn’t understand my English, and I also made mistakes in sending them to the wrong person.

Well, I made mistakes, but I learned new English expressions from them, and I also learned how to avoid making the same mistakes.
All of these things I could not have learned if I had not made those mistakes.
So, I hope that everyone will continue to make mistakes and learn new things.
