みなさん、こんにちは。
SAKURA TIPSは、日本語リスニングのPodcastです。

今日のテーマは働き方についてです。
皆さんは今、どのような働き方をしていますか?
おそらく、平日の9時から5時で働いている人が多いと思います。
私もそのような働き方をしています。
平日は9時に仕事を始めて、5時が終業時間です。
残業をすることが多いですが、なるべく6時までには終わるようにしています。
私の会社は、とても自由だと思います。
会社というか、私が今働いている部署は自由です。
理由は、お客さんと直接やり取りすることがないからです。
比較的、自分のペースで仕事をすることができます。
なので、自分の仕事さえちゃんとできていれば、休みをいつでも取ることができます。
私の会社では年間、一年間に20日の有給休暇があります。
日本ではよくあることなのですが、20日有給休暇があっても、全部使い切る事はなかなかありません。
それは何故かと言うと、いろいろ理由があると思うのですが、理由の1つは、周りがあまり休んでいないので、自分が休みづらいというのがあると思います。
ですが、最近は変わってきていて、きちんと休みましょうと言うような雰囲気になっています。
私のチームでも、そんなに有給休暇をみんなとっているわけでは無いのですが、私はもう周りは関係なく、取ろうと思いました。
そして月末は仕事が落ち着いているので、来週の月曜日は休みを取りました。
これも前日、えーと、休みを取ることを金曜日に決めました。
そんな感じでどんどん働き方が変わっていっているので、しっかり休みましょうと言う事ですね。

Today’s theme is about work styles.
What kind of work style do you have now?
Most of you probably work from 9:00 to 5:00 on weekdays.
That’s how I work, too.
I start work at 9:00 on weekdays and finish at 5:00.
I often have to work overtime, but I try to finish by 6:00.
I think my company is very flexible.
The company, or rather the department where I work now, is very flexible.
The reason is that we don’t have to deal with customers directly.
I can work at my own pace relatively.
So, as long as I do my work properly, I can take a day off at any time.
In my company, we have 20 days of paid vacation per year.
This is common in Japan, but even if you have 20 days of paid vacation, it is not easy to use them all.
There are many reasons for this, but I think one of the reasons is that people around them are not taking much time off, so it is difficult for them to take time off.
In my team, not everyone takes paid vacations a lot, but I decided to take them regardless of the people around me.
And since work is calm at the end of the month, I took next Monday off.
I decided to take this day off on Friday.
That’s how the way we work is changing rapidly, so we should take a good rest.
