Hello, everyone.
SAKURA TIPS is a Japanese listening Podcast.

————————–

Today’s theme is about picking up trash.

Do you ever pick up trash on the street?
Probably not for many people.
I think many people think that picking up trash is a part of Japanese culture.
During the World Cup in 2018 or 2019, Japanese people were picking up trash after watching a game.
When supporters from overseas saw this, they talked about how wonderful Japan was.
I think that picking up trash is part of Japanese culture.

I often take a walk in the park.
When I am walking in the park, I often find trash on the ground.
I often find bags of candy and cigarette butts on the ground.
And since I love parks, I feel a little disappointed when I see trash on the ground.
So I thought I would take a walk and pick up trash.

I usually take a walk, so all I need to do is bring a garbage bag along with me and I can pick up the trash.
There are also trash cans in the park, so you can just throw them away before leaving.
And I’m going to try it tomorrow.
I think it would be good to pick up for about 10 minutes.
But I thought that if I continue to do this every day, the park will become cleaner.

I think this will not only be good for the park, but also for me.
I don’t think there is anyone who feels bad after picking up trash.
I thought I would start with something small, picking up trash, to make my daily life happy and enjoyable.
