今日のテーマは、原子力発電についてです。
みなさんは、10年前、日本で大きな地震があったことを知っていますか？
そして、地震だけでなく、その後、原発事故がおきました。
場所は、福島県です。
地震で、津波が発生しました。
そして、その津波が、予想以上に大きく、原発の場所まで入ってきました。
全ての電気が止まり、事故が起きました。
私は昨日、原発事故のドキュメンタリー映画を見ました。
原発で働いていた人は、「死ぬかもしれない」と思いながら、仕事をしていました。
原発の周りに住んでいる人は、すぐ避難をしました。
そして、いまだに自分たちの家に帰ることができません。
なので、その地域は、2010年のままです。
とても悲しいですね。
私たち一人一人ができることはとても少ないですが、この事故を忘れない、そして、未来の子供たちに教えていく必要があると思います。
今日は少し真面目な話しをしました。
それでは、今日はこのへんで終わりにしようと思います。

This is a Japanese language listening program for those who are studying Japanese.
I will speak Japanese slowly.
Today’s theme is about nuclear power.
Do you know that 10 years ago, there was a big earthquake in Japan?
Not only was there an earthquake, but there was also a nuclear accident.
The place was Fukushima prefecture.
The earthquake generated a tsunami.
The tsunami was much bigger than expected, and it came to the location of the nuclear power plant.
All the electricity stopped and the accident happened.
Yesterday, I watched a documentary film about the nuclear accident.
People who were working at the nuclear power plant were thinking that they might die while they were working.
The people who lived around the plant evacuated immediately.
And they still can’t go back to their homes.
So, the area is still as it was in 2010.
It is very sad.
There is very little that each of us can do, but we need to remember this accident and teach it to the children of the future.
