今日のテーマは、私の英語学習法についてです。
私は4年ほど前まで、英語が全く話せませんでした。
海外の旅行している人から道を聞かれても、なにも答えることができませんでした。
しかし、今は、英語のネイティブスピーカーとも問題なく会話を楽しむことができます。
今日は、私がどのようにして英語を学んだについてお話しします。
私は１年間、留学をしました。
オーストラリアやイギリスに行きました。
ただ、１年間留学しても、英語を話せない日本人はたくさんいます。
私がしていた勉強は、シャドーイングですね。
みなさん、シャドーイングを知っていますか？
シャドーイングは、音声に合わせて耳で聞いてそのまま真似する練習法です。
このシャドーイングをたくさんしました。
そして、単語の覚え方ですが、最初は、単語のテキストで勉強していました。
しかし、やっぱり覚えることは難しいですよね。
私は、友達との会話、イングリッシュスピーカーとの会話でわからなかった単語を家に帰って調べていました。
実際に使っていた単語なので、覚えることが早かったですね。
なので、大事なのは、英語を話す人とコミュニケーションを取ること、そして英語で話しているPodcastだったり、他のものをたくさん聞くこと。
それが大事だと思っています。

This is Mari , SAKURATIPS.
This is a Japanese language listening program for those who are studying Japanese.
I will speak Japanese slowly.
Today’s topic is about my method of learning English.
Until about four years ago, I could not speak English at all.
Even when I was asked for directions by people traveling abroad, I couldn’t answer anything.
Now, however, I can enjoy conversations with native English speakers without any problems.
Today, I would like to talk about how I learned English.
I studied abroad for one year.
I went to Australia and England.
However, there are many Japanese who cannot speak English even after studying abroad for a year.
The study I did was shadowing.
Have you ever heard of shadowing?
Shadowing is a practice method where you listen to the audio and imitate it right after.
I did a lot of this shadowing.
As for how to remember the words, at first I studied them with a vocabulary textbook.
However, it was still difficult to remember them.
I went home and looked up words that I didn’t understand in conversations with my friends and English speakers.
Since I was actually using the words, I was able to remember them quickly.
So, the important thing is to communicate with English speakers and listen to a lot of podcasts and other things that are spoken in English.
That’s what I think is important.
I recommend everyone to try Japanese podcasts, Youtube, and talking to Japanese people.
