SAKURA TIPSは、日本語リスニングのPodcastです。

テーマは視力についてです。
皆さんは視力が良いですか？視力が悪いですか？
日本語では、「視力が良い」「視力が悪い」以外に、「目が良い」「目が悪い」という言い方もします。
私は視力が悪いです。
多分、結構悪いです。
メガネやコンタクトレンズがないと、ほとんど何も見えません。
最近は毎日眼鏡をかけています。
出かける時はコンタクトレンズを使います。
最近は家で仕事をしていますし、ほとんど出かける機会がないので、メガネです。
1日中眼鏡をかけていると、疲れてきます。
そしてメガネが重いなぁと感じるようになります。
しかし、眼鏡をはずすと何も見えないので、我慢しながらかけています。
そして最近手術を考えています。
レーシックの手術をしている人は多いと思います。
私が考えているのは、ICLという手術です。
これは目の中にコンタクトレンズを入れる手術らしいです。
最近このICL手術についてよく調べています。
私は小さい頃から目が悪かったので、裸眼でクリアに見えるということを知りません。
なので、朝、目が覚めたときに全部はっきりと見ることができるという世界を知りません。
多分、手術をした後は本当に感動するだろうなと思っています。
今はどこの病院でするかというのを調べています。
できれば今年中にしたいなと言うふうに思っています。

The theme is about eyesight.
Do you have good eyesight? Do you have bad eyesight?
In Japanese, in addition to “good SHIRYOKU” and “bad SHIRYOKU,” there are other ways to say “good ME” and “bad ME”.
I have bad eyesight.
Probably pretty bad.
Without glasses or contact lenses, I can hardly see anything.
These days, I wear glasses every day.
When I go out, I use contact lenses.
These days, I work at home and rarely go out, so I wear glasses.
When I wear glasses all day long, I get tired.
And I start to feel that my glasses are heavy.
However, I can’t see anything when I take them off, so I endure wearing them.
Recently, I have been thinking about surgery.
I think there are some people who are having LASIK surgery.
What I am thinking about is a surgery called ICL.
I heard that this is a surgery to insert a contact lens into the eye.
Recently, I have been doing a lot of research on this ICL surgery.
I’ve had bad eyesight since I was a child, so I’ve never been able to see clearly with my naked eyes.
So I don’t know what it’s like to wake up in the morning and be able to see everything clearly.
I think I will probably be really impressed after the surgery.
Right now I’m researching which clinic to go to.
I would like to have it done this year if possible.
