今日のテーマは、ヘアスタイルについてです。
みなさんは、お気に入りのヘアスタイルはありますか？
日本では、特に女性ですね。
日本人の女性にとって、人気のヘアスタイルがあります。
これは、年々、毎年変わっていくもので、流行があります。
30年ほど前は、聖子ちゃんカットというヘアスタイルがとても人気でした。
この聖子ちゃんカットというのは、昔、松田聖子さんというアイドルの方が有名でした。
日本人女性は松田聖子さんに憧れて、同じような髪形をしていました。
今は、人それぞれにはなってきましたが、私の身の回り、私の友人とかを見ると、
まあ、あの、茶色に髪を染める人が多いように思います。
あとは、パーマをかける人も多いですね。
よく聞く話が、海外では、黒い紙でロングヘアーのストレート、このヘアスタイルが人気と聞きます。
黒髪・ストレート・ロングヘアの日本人女性が人気と聞いたことがあります。
私も黒髪のストレートヘアなんですけれども、それは、あのー、めんどくさいからですね。
パーマとか髪を染めたりするのがめんどくさいので、今の髪型にしています。
たまに、ヘアサロンに行って髪型を大きく変える人がいますが、
そのことを日本語では「イメチェン」とよびます。
イメチェンとは、「image change」を略したものになります。
みなさんはお気に入りの髪型・ヘアスタイルはありますか？

“Seiko-chan cut” was made famous by an idol named Seiko Matsuda.
Japanese women admired Seiko Matsuda and wore their hair in the same way.
Nowadays, it’s different for everyone, but when I look around me and my friends…
Well, I think many people dye their hair brown.
Also, there are many people who perm their hair.
I’ve heard that Japanese women with black, straight, long hair are popular.
I also have straight black hair, but that’s because it’s such a hassle.
It’s a hassle to get a perm or dye my hair, so I keep my hair the way it is now.
Sometimes, people go to hair salons and change their hairstyle a lot.
In Japanese, it is called “ime-chen”, which is short for “image change”.
