Hello, everyone.
I’m Mari.
Thank you for visiting my blog, SAKURA TIPS.

If you’re looking at this, you probably want to study Japanese or love Japan.

For people like you, I have started “SAKURA Community”, an online community for Japanese language learners on December 26, 2020.

This is a community for people who have such thoughts.
I would like to share with you why I started this community.

There are two reasons in brief.

I had a lot of trouble learning English

How long have you been studying Japanese?
I have been studying English for 10 years.
Now I am able to communicate in English, but before, I could not speak English at all. (TOEIC score: 400)
When I was studying English, I always thought like this.

I’m sure you are probably thinking the same thing when you study Japanese.

However, do you actually have a chance to use Japanese in your daily life?

even if you study Japanese hard, many of you probably don’t have any opportunities to actually use Japanese.
It is also difficult to make Japanese friends now that you cannot travel abroad.

If you have many chances to use Japanese, you will improve quickly.

Because of my own difficulties in learning English, I wanted to make such opportunities.

I like to communicate with people from different countries

I love to communicate with people from different countries.
What is common to you is new and very interesting to me.

In your country, do you have such a culture as “if you see an eyelash on your face, puff on it while making a wish”?
It’s probably a Western culture, but I was very impressed when I first learned about it.
The opposite is also true.
For me, as a Japanese, sushi, shrines and temples are nothing special.
But to you, they are very unusual, aren’t they?

Communication between people from such different cultures is always fresh and fun, and I love it.

This is the reason why I started the online community.
I want everyone to be proactive in the communication here.

It’s OK to make mistakes !
If you don’t use Japanese / don’t make any mistakes,  you won’t learn it.

Let’s use Japanese more and more to improve your language skills.
And let’s make friends.

ブログ「SAKURA TIPS」を訪問してくれてありがとうございます。

これを見ているあなたは、日本語の勉強をしている、もしくはこれから勉強したい　、日本が好き　だと思います。

あなたのような人たちに向けて、2020/12/26 日本語学習者のためのオンラインコミュニティ、SAKURA Communityをスタートしました。

・日本語をもっと勉強したい！
・日本語をもっと使いたい！
・日本語を学んでいる友達が欲しい！
・日本人の友達が欲しい！
・日本語サークルに参加したい！

そのような思いを持っている人が気軽に参加できるコミュニティです。

今日は、私がなぜこのコミュニティを立ち上げたのか、その理由をお話しします。

簡単にまとめると2つの理由があります。

・自分が英語学習にかなり苦労したから
・いろんな国の人と交流することが好きだから

１、自分が英語学習にかなり苦労したから

あなたはどれくらいの期間、日本語を勉強していますか？
私は、１０年間、英語の勉強をしています。
現在は英語でのコミュニケーションもとれるようになりましたが、以前は全く英語が話せませんでした。（TOEIC４００点）
英語を勉強しているとき、いつもこのように思っていました。

・英語をもっとたくさん使いたいな
・現地の友達が欲しいな
・英語を勉強している友達が欲しいな

おそらく日本語の勉強をしているあなたも、同じようなことを思っているのではないでしょうか。

しかし、実際日本語を使う機会はありますか？
勉強はしているけれど実際に日本語を使う機会はほとんどないのではないでしょうか？
また、海外旅行も出来ない現在、日本人の友達を作ることも難しいです。

日本語を使うチャンスが多い人は、すぐ上達します。

自分が英語学習に苦労したからこそ、そのような機会を作りたいと思いました。

２、いろんな国の人と交流することが好きだから

私は色々な国の人とコミュニケーションを取ることが大好きです。
あなたにとっては当たり前のことも、私にとっては新鮮でとてもおもしろい。

あなたの国では、「顔にまつげがついていたら、願い事をしながらふっと息をかける」そんな文化はありますか？
おそらく欧米の文化だと思いますが、私はこれを初めて知った時とても感動しました。
逆もあります。
日本人の私にとって、寿司や神社やお寺は特別ではありません。
しかし、あなたにとってはとても珍しいものではないでしょうか？

このように異なる文化を持った人同士のコミュニケーションは、いつも新鮮で楽しく、私は大好きです。

このような理由から、オンラインコミュニティを始めました。
ここでは、みなさん積極的にコミュニケーションを取って欲しいと思います。

間違えてもOK。失敗してもOK。
日本語は使わなければ、学ぶこともできません。

どんどん日本語を使って、上達させましょう。
そして友達を作りましょう。

そして私には夢があります。
いつも東京にゲストハウスを作り、ゲスト同士や日本人がコミュニケーションを取ることができる場所を作ること。
海外旅行は観光地を回るだけではありません。
現地の人とコミュニケーションを取ったり、旅先でできた友人と感動を分かち合う　それこそあなたの旅を素晴らしいものにしてくれると思います。
そんなことができる場所を作りたい。
そして、泊まった人がまた、日本に来たい、ここに帰ってきたいと思えるような「HOUSE」を作りたいです。
