今日のテーマは、LGBTQ＋ についてです。
みなさんは、LGBTQ＋を知っていますか？
海外では、当たり前のように、みんな知っていると思います。
日本では、最近、知られるようになりました。
今日、げいの男性とお話しをしました。
彼の物語を聞きました。
家族にカミングアウトした時の話し、そして、受け入れられた話しや、受け入れられなかった話し、色々な話しを聞きました。
その中で、お母さんから手紙をもらったという話しを聞きました。
その中では、
「あなたが女性が好きであれ、男性が好きであれ、私の子供には変わりがない」といった内容でした。
私はそれを聞いて泣きそうになりました。
素晴らしいお母さんだなと思いました。
日本ではまだまだLGBTQ＋は理解されていません。
ですが、だんだん理解されています。
少しでも、正しい理解をしている人が増えるといいなと思います。
そして、みんなが住みやすい社会になるといいなと思います。

Today’s theme is about LGBTQ+.
Have you ever heard of LGBTQ+?
In other countries, I think everyone knows about it.
In Japan, it has only recently become known.
Today, I had a conversation with a man who is gay.
He told me his story.
He told me about the time he came out to his family, how he was accepted, how he was not accepted, and many other stories.
One of the stories I heard was that he received a letter from his mother.
In it, she said.
It said, “Whether you like women or men, you are still my child.
I felt like crying when I heard that.
I thought she was a wonderful mother.
In Japan, LGBTQ+ people are still not well understood.
However, it is gradually being understood.
I hope that the number of people who have a correct understanding will increase, even if only a little.
I also hope that we can create a society that is easy for everyone to live in.
