Hello, everyone.
This is Mari , SAKURATIPS.
This is a Japanese language listening program for those who are studying Japanese.
I will speak Japanese slowly.

Today’s theme is about croquettes.

Do you know what croquettes are?
There are many kinds of croquettes.
The most common ones are made with potatoes, beef, and onions.
They are sometimes called beef croquettes or Gyuniku croquettes.

I love croquettes.
Croquettes are very cheap.
You can buy them for 100 yen each.
However, it is very difficult to make them at home.

First, you have to mash the potatoes.
Then, I add fried meat and vegetables to the mixture.
Then, make it into a round shape.
Then they are dipped in egg, flour, bread crumbs, etc. and fried in oil.
It is a very time-consuming dish.

I have made croquettes only once before.
When I was living in London, I really wanted to eat croquettes, so I made them myself.
I found it very tasty.
However, I don’t think I will make it again since I can buy it for 100 yen in Japan.

I hope everyone will give croquettes a try.

Well, that’s it for today.
