みなさん、こんにちは。
SAKURATIPSのまりです。

今日のテーマは新年度についてです。

今日は今日は3月31日。
明日から、新年度が始まります。

日本では、学校や会社は4月から3月までという年度です。
つまり、4月に学生は、新しい学年になります。
4月は、入学式や入社式があります。
今日が、今年度の最終日です。

私は、明日から新しい部署で働きます。
なので、今日が、今働いている同僚との最終日です。

たぶん、日本だけですかね、4月スタートは。
だいたい、3月に卒業式があって、4月に入学式があります。
なので、3月は別れの季節、4月は出会いの季節とも呼ばれます。

おとなになると、あまり3月と4月の違いはありません。
しかし、学生の時、子供は大きな違いです。
クラスメイトも変わります。学年も変わります。
なので、3月と4月は不安とドキドキの季節です。

皆さんの国では、1月スタートですかね。

This is a Japanese language listening program for those who are studying Japanese.

Today’s theme is about the new year.

Today is March 31st.
Tomorrow, the new fiscal year will begin.

In Japan, the fiscal year is from April to March for schools and companies.
In other words, students start a new school year in April.
In April, there are entrance ceremonies and initiation ceremonies.
Today is the last day of this school year.

I will be working in a new department tomorrow.
So, today is my last day with my current colleagues.

Maybe it’s only Japan that starts in April.
There are usually graduation ceremonies in March and entrance ceremonies in April.
Therefore, March is called the season of parting (good bye) and April the season of new meeting.

When you are an adult, there is not much difference between March and April.
However, when you are a student, there is a big difference.
Classmates change. Grades also change.
So, March and April are a time of anxiety and excitement.
