Hello, everyone.
SAKURA TIPS is a Japanese listening Podcast.

————————–

Today’s theme is about vaccines.

I am getting my first vaccine this weekend.
In Japan, many people have been getting vaccines since the beginning of July.
Well, I guess it’s a little later than other countries, but recently, my family and friends have been getting the vaccine.
And I’m getting it this weekend.

I’ve heard a lot of stories about it, and all of them said that their arms hurt.
Most of them said that their arms started to hurt a lot the day after the vaccination or the night on the day.
Many of them said that they couldn’t lift their arms.

I was very scared when I heard that.
I am not very good at taking injections, and I usually have to take a blood sample every year for my physical checkup, which is not an injection, but a needle.
Well, I have to have an injection once a year, and I hate that very much.
Well, I don’t have a choice at that time, so I just put up with it and take it.
I don’t get the flu shot or the flu vaccine either.

But this time, I thought I had to have it, so I made an appointment.
I don’t want to take the vaccine, and I really don’t want it to hurt, I don’t want my arm to hurt, so I’m really depressed right now.
And when I think about the vaccine, my arm hurts even though I didn’t do anything.
I think it’s kind of funny that my arm hurts when I’m not really doing anything, but well, now I’m waiting for the weekend in a kind of depressed mood.

How did it go for you?
Did you have any adverse reactions?
