Hello, everyone.
SAKURA TIPS is a Japanese listening Podcast.

————————–

Today’s theme is about living in the countryside.

I am currently living in Tokyo, but I am thinking about living in the countryside.
The things I dislike the most about living in Tokyo are that there are so many people. And because there are so many people, there is noise.
The sound of trains, cars, and people’s voices.
And because the houses are so close to each other, you can often hear the sounds of daily life.
This is a big problem for me, and I would like to have a quieter life.

So I am thinking about living in the countryside.
I would like to leave Tokyo and live in a rural area.
First of all, the rent is cheaper in the countryside.
The rent is usually half of what I pay in Tokyo.
There are also fewer people, so the noise is quieter.

The only problem is that you need a car to live in a rural area.
In Tokyo, you can go anywhere by train.
There are almost no opportunities to use a car.
However, when you go to rural areas, there are not many trains, and buses and trains are only available once every 30 minutes.
Therefore, a car is always necessary.
This is a bit of a disadvantage.

So I would like to think carefully about the kind of life I want to have, and then decide where to live.
What kind of life do you want to live?
Do you want to live in the city, or do you want to live quietly in the countryside?
