Hello, everyone.
SAKURA TIPS is a Japanese listening Podcast.

————————–

Today’s theme is about wellbeing.

Do you often think about wellbeing?
I would like to tell you a little bit about myself lately.

I haven’t been eating food properly lately.
I had a really light lunch of some vegetables, and then at night, I was hungry but didn’t want to eat anything, so I just ate the leftovers from lunch.
But I was still hungry, so I ate yogurt and cake.
But I didn’t eat them because I wanted to, I ate them because I was hungry.
So it was not very healthy and I was not getting much nutrition or calories.
So I was losing weight.

I talked about it in the Japanese learning community which I started.
I asked them, “Isn’t there a time when you are hungry but don’t want to eat anything?”
Then some people messaged me saying, “That happens when you are under a lot of stress or not doing so well. Are you okay?”

Looking back, I thought I would be fine, but I stopped wanting to eat food, and I woke up many times when I was sleeping.
I thought I was fine in my head, but my body is honest.

So, I woke up today and made and ate a nutritious miso soup with lots of vegetables, because I really know that this lifestyle is not good for me.
It was delicious.

So, little by little.
Well, I don’t think I’m that mentally damaged, but I think I’m a little tired, so I’d like to take care of myself.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I should talk about it in the podcast.
It’s not a positive story.

However, I thought it would be nice if people knew that I was doing my best and thought, “Well, maybe I’ll do my best, too.”

Why don’t you think about your own health and wellbeing?
