Hello, everyone.
SAKURA TIPS is a Japanese listening Podcast.

————————–

Today’s theme is about mistakes.

I made a small mistake at work today.
Well, it was nothing serious, but in my mind, if I had checked carefully, this mistake would not have happened.
And I was reminded of it.

And just being sad after making a mistake doesn’t change anything.
You can learn something from that mistake and use it to avoid making the same kind of mistake next time.

I was also a little disappointed at first. But I thought, “What did I learn from this mistake? Then I thought about what I could do to avoid making the same mistake again.
As a result of my thinking, I made a list of the mistakes I made this time, and then, as I do every month, I decided to look back at the list.
I thought this would help me prevent the mistakes I tend to make.
I immediately made the list today.
So I think I can still do the task next month without making any mistakes.

Well, if I make another kind of mistake, I’ll add it to the list again so that I don’t make it again, and eventually I’ll be able to do it properly.
So, instead of getting disappointed when I make a mistake, I should think about what I could have learned from it after I made it. I thought it was important to think about that.

Everyone makes mistakes.
So, I thought it would be a good idea to make the most of it and keep on trying new things.
