今日のテーマは、家庭菜園についてです。
皆さんは、家で何か野菜を育てていますか?
私は、昨日から野菜を育て始めました。
豆苗という野菜です。
豆からできている、葉っぱ?ですかね、野菜です。
水を入れるだけなので、とても簡単です。
豆苗は英語で何と言うか分からないので、後で調べて、トランスクリプトに入れておきます。
昔はいろいろ野菜を作っていました。
きゅうり、トマト、ネギなど、野菜を育てていました。
きゅうりは1本だけ収穫できました。
しかし、とても暑い夏だったので、枯れてしまいました。
私はマンションに住んでいるので、バルコニーで育てています。
あまり広い場所が取れないので、そんなに野菜は作れないですね。
ただ、私の実家ではいろいろな野菜を作っています。
ピーマン、トマト、きゅうり、なす、あとは、にんじんとか玉ねぎも作っていましたね。
最近はスイカを収穫したらしいです。
実家は一戸建てなので、いろいろな野菜をを作ることができています。
野菜を育てるのは楽しいです。
私も今は豆苗だけですが、以前は楽しんでいろいろな野菜を育てていました。
そして自分が育てた野菜を食べるのは嬉しいです。
野菜を育てるのはいいですね。
癒しになります。
今度挑戦したいなと思っているものは、ネギです。
簡単だからです。

Today’s theme is about vegetable gardens.
Do you grow any vegetables at home?
I started growing vegetables yesterday.
It’s called bean sprouts.
It is a leafy vegetable made from beans.
All you have to do is add water, so it’s very easy.
(I don’t know how to say bean sprouts in English, so I’ll look it up later and put it in the transcript.)
I used to grow a variety of vegetables.
I grew cucumbers, tomatoes, green onions, and other vegetables.
I was able to harvest only one cucumber.
However, it was a very hot summer and it withered away.
I live in an apartment, so I grow them on my balcony.
I can’t grow that many vegetables because I can’t take up much space.
However, my parents grow a variety of vegetables.
They grow peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, carrots and onions.
Recently, they have harvested watermelons.
My parents have own house, so they are able to grow a variety of vegetables at their garden.
It’s fun to grow vegetables.
I used to enjoy growing a variety of vegetables, but now I only grow bean sprouts.
And I am happy to eat the vegetables that I have grown.
It is good to grow vegetables.
It’s healing.
The next vegetable I want to try is green onions.
It’s easy.
