今日のテーマは在宅勤務のデメリットについてです。
私はもう1年半以上、在宅勤務をしています。
そして在宅勤務の素晴らしさに気が付きました。
なのでコロナウィルスが終わってもずっと在宅勤務をしたいと思っています。
もうとにかく在宅勤務最高！という感じだったのですが、1年半家で仕事をしてみて、1つデメリットも、今感じ始めました。
それはやはりコミニケーションですね。
私はこれまで用事があれば電話もするしビデオ会議もうするから問題ないと思っていました。
ですが、ずっと在宅勤務を続けていると、本当に一日誰ともしゃべらない日がたくさんあるんですよね。
会議があったとしても自分は発言しない会議だったり、あと発言したとしても本当に仕事の話だけのような日がほとんどです。
そしてたまに上司とか同僚と電話で雑談をするんですけど、すごく楽しいです。
もしオフィスにいたらどうなんでしょうね。雑談するのかなと思って。
多分月に4回、つまり1週間に1回くらいは出社をしてもいいかもしれないなと思うようになりました。
これは私にとってすごい心境の変化です。在宅勤務万歳だったんですけれども、今になって少し出社してもいいかなぁと思うようになりました。
ただ在宅勤務はメリットがとても多いので、毎日出社となるとしんどいですね。
なのでたまに出社するくらいが1番いいかなと思っています。
皆さんはオフィスで働くのと、家で働くのどちらが好きですか?

I’ve been telecommuting for over a year and a half now, and I’ve realized how wonderful it is.
Anyway, I love telecommuting! But after working from home for a year and a half, I’m starting to feel one disadvantage.
That is communication.
I used to think it was no problem because I would call people if I needed to, or have video meetings.
However, after working from home for a long time, there are many days when I really don’t talk to anyone.
Even if there is a meeting, it’s a meeting where I don’t speak, and even if I do, it’s usually just to talk about work.
And sometimes I have a chat on the phone with my boss or colleagues, which is really fun.
I wonder what it would be like if I were in an office. I wondered if I would be chatting with them.
I started to think that maybe I could come to the office four times a month, or at least once a week.
This is an amazing change of mind for me. I used to be all for work from home, but now I think it’s okay to go to the office a little bit.
However, working from home has so many advantages that it would be hard to come to the office every day.
So I think it’s best to come to work once in a while.
