皆さんは「形から入る」という日本語を知っていますか?
形から入るというのは、例えば何か新しいことを始めるとします。
じゃあ登山を始めるとしましょう。
これから登山をしたいなと思った時に、皆さんはまず何をしますか?
一番近い気軽に行ける山を見つけて、とりあえず今週末登ってみよう。
もしくは登山に行くなら登山のシューズ、そしてステッキ。ステッキですかね？なんか杖みたいな棒。そして登山ウェア帽子登山用のリュック全てをまずは買いに行こうと思いますか?
私は前者です。
まず気軽にできるところからやってみようと言うものです。
一方、私の友達は、後者です。
何かを始めるときまず一式全部買っています。
で、その私の友達のような人のことを形から入るといいます。
とりあえず登山のグッズを一式揃える。
そういう形、登山者のような形からまずは始めるというところです。
たまにこれは、まぁ事実なんですけれども、「形から入るよねー」とちょっと話題になることもあります。
というのは、新しいことを始める時って自分がそれを好きかどうかそして続けたいと思うかどうかわからないじゃないですか。
でも登山の道具を全部買って1回行ってみてやっぱ登山は楽しくないなぁと思ってやめてしまう人もいます。
なので形から入るんじゃなくてまずはやってみようと言われたりします。
